Discovering your unique voice

Singing Workshops

We offer a series of interactive workshops* to help you improve your singing voice. The series begins with our introductory Back to Basics session (designed for beginners or as a refresher for more experienced singers) and works through to learning how to deliver a confident performance.

The workshops give you the chance to focus on and improve your own singing voice. They are designed to provide you with the skills and confidence to get your voice into gear and raring to go!

*We have also turned our first Workshop into an online Singing Course, Beginning To Sing, that you can do in your own time at your own pace.

A TYPICAL WORKSHOP

Each workshop starts with a basic warm-up. Your body supports your voice, so it has to be ready for you to sing and your voice needs a nice stretch before it can work properly too! There is then a learning section focussing on the main topic with tips, techniques and exercises before you get a chance to put what you have learned into practice by working through a song. You will be able to sing and share experience with others in the group, whilst having fun learning new songs. We finish with time for a cuppa and a chance to get to know people better.

Along the way, our regular workshops will focus on such topics as:

In each of our workshops, we focus on a different area of singing technique to help you get the most out of your voice. Check out our Frequently Asked Questions or useful information about attending our classes and workshops.

Details about upcoming Workshops will appear on this page.

“Love singing! I’m not the best but this friendly group welcomes all. I’m here to do what I love…and hopefully become better with guidance, singing techniques and like- minded ladies. It’s great fun with delightful women.”
